Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about my coaching process.
None at all. I cater to pre-professionals and novices alike. The goal is an enjoyment of the gift of music which we all have in our voices in addition to any other goals you might have.
I currently only offer face to face lessons so that I can have full confidence in the quality of my coaching without technical issues getting in the way. These are held in my hired space in central Sidcup.
Lessons take place on Mondays 3pm-7.45pm and Thursday 6.30-9.20pm.
Yes. Once you have submitted your enquiry form, we will book a free ‘Enquiry Follow-Up Call’ over zoom or phone to see whether I would be a good fit for you and your goals.
Yes. You can book a 30 minute taster session at the discounted price of £20. In this session I will lead you through a range of vocal exercises and discuss what progress you could expect to make if you committed to long-term sessions.
If you would like to prepare a song to sing to me (with your own backing track) then I would love to hear it! But this is entirely optional.
You can choose between a 30 or 60 minute session as often as you like. Regular (weekly or bi-weekly) lessons are recommended as consistency is key, however we can work to ensure progress whatever your circumstances. 60 minute sessions allow for in-depth work each time we meet whereas 30 minute sessions will give more slow and steady progress.
Children (7+), teens and adults are all welcome (female only).
Yes. I have worked in the education sector for the past 5 years, two of those being as a primary school teacher. I hold an enhanced DBS and follow a safeguarding policy which can be found on the ‘Policies’ page of this website.
Absolutely! I have experience working with both adults and children with SEN and all are welcome. I will cater every lesson to the individual and am more than happy to discuss what adjustments might be required.
All you need is yourself, however I recommend bringing a device (like a phone) on which to record your lesson – this will allow you to listen back to both the exercises we worked on (for you to continue practicing at home) and the progress you made. You may alternatively wish to bring a notebook and pen to jot down any notes from the session.
That's completely normal! Rest assured our sessions will be a relaxed and judgement free environment, working at a pace that suits you. You can share any concerns you might have in our Enquiry Follow-Up call.
